The State of Connecticut has lifted most COVID-19 restrictions, including those specific to massage therapy practices. However, it’s prudent to maintain certain health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both clients and practitioners.
Recommended Health and Safety Practices:
- Enhanced Sanitation: We continue rigorous cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces and equipment between clients.
- Hand Hygiene: All practitioners participate in frequent handwashing between clients, and hand sanitizer is available for all clients and staff.
- Health Screening: If any client exhibits any symptoms of illness, including itchy/scratchy/sore throat, runny nose, fever, and coughing at the onset of other symptoms, we request that they notify us as soon as possible to reschedule their appointment and allow the practitioner to opportunity to fill the scheduled slot if available..
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): While not mandated, wearing masks can be considered based on personal comfort and client preferences. Please advise in advance if you have a preference that your practitioner wear a mask.
- Ventilation: We continuously run an air purifier with HEPA air filter to ensure proper airflow within the treatment room and to reduce potential airborne contaminants.
